Hi Dave,
I have been working constantly on DipCortex. But today I have dusted off the SplashBase I will fix what I have and upload the source/bin for you to try out this week.
As for the future, the DipCortex has been more popular so far which we have mbed to thank,it has a huge library of code to refer to a range of sensors and devices. Unfortunately SplashBase compatibility isn't possible with mbed.
The SplashBase has done better with users that just wanted network controlled relays and a few clients who have written their own code for remote monitoring.
I personally still prefer a wired Ethernet connection and have a few splashbases controlling lighting around the house. My dining room one hasn't been rebooted in over 6 months and still responds.
So a future SplashBase may well have an mbed compatible processor to help us cater for bigger market. As for SolderBridges we have at the moment put them on hold to focus on the DipCortex.
