Powering a DipCortex

Can the DipCortex be powered externally without the USB cable connected?

I'm guessing it can but I fried my first Xino mini by wiring it up wrong and don't want to do the same thing to one of my DipCortex as there are limited numbers available at the moment.

Am I correct in thinking I use pins 11 and 12 with either 3.3v or 5v depending on how the DipCortex is set?

Yes you can power it externally and you are correct it is all based on the setting of SJ1.

If set to output 3.3v only supply 3.3v externally. If set to 5v only supply 5v externally.

Via pins 11 & 32.

Always good to ask :)
