I'd like to see something with sensors. Maybe a motion sensor and have it trigger some kind of action like an alarm or for fun fire one of those rubber missile launchers.

I like DipCortex. It sounds like a component from a Star Trek ship. "It's the DipCortex Captain".

"It's the DipCortex Captain". That made me smile

I have an ultra sonic sensor somewhere, no missile launcher though!

Price will be around the £20 mark

I have an ultra sonic sonsor but no missile launcher either so just triggering an LED or a buzzer would be fine.

£20 sounds like a fair price.

I've ordered one of each Carl. Now I need to build my Starship.

Looking forward to seeing what these can do.

Wow thanks Dave, I literally just enabled the pages, you don't waste time!

Not sure what peripheral you'll need to control your warp core

Perfect timing Carl. I only got home just over an hour ago.

Have you come up with any examples for them?

I'm working on creating an example set of projects that share a common code base between the 2 different micros. There's a few github projects that I might base it upon but in my own style. With a CLI (Command line interface) to control it, similar to the SplashBase's.

Then add the ultrasonic on top of that as a demo of the codebase.

Booking shipping, hire car, travel arrangements for MakerFaire has taken over at the moment, just hoping our stuff makes it there! :|

So might not be until next week that I can get back on it.

Until then there's lpxpresso & lpcopen example code linked on the project page.

Thank you Carl.

I'm looking forward to your example projects. If what you have done with the SplashBase is anything to go on I'm sure they will be great.

Have fun at MakerFaire and I hope your fantastic products find some new homes.
