Can I power WiFidipCortex from 3.3V

Can I power the WiFiDipCortex from an external 3.3V power supply directly onto pins 11 & 12

Welcome to the forum!

Yes you can bypass the 5V to 3.3v regulator and supply your own 3.3v via P11 and GND via P12/P31/P7

The CC3000's current consumption is intermittent, it spikes when transmitting. You will need to make sure your 3.3v is capable of 200-300mA
